Born: Frederick Maryland
Robin attended many schools in Frederick, she attended East Frederick Elementary, then proceeded to West Frederick Middle school, then later we moved to East 16th Street and Robin went to TJ in 9th grade and later graduated from Gov Thomas Johnson High in 1977.
During her early school years Robin was very active in Track and Field, a straight A student, loved boys and loved dancing but not knowing all would soon change her life forever!
When Robin was 15, she was diagnosed with "Multiple Sclerosis" after many tests at NIH and John Hopkins Hospital and had to be tutored later in 10th grade to graduate, by a teacher which at that time was from TJ, Mr. Shanholtz. Our many Thanks to him!!
Robin insisted on going to her Homecomings and Proms.
Robin passed and on that very graduating night was and extra emotional, Robin bearly made it but she walked across the TJ stage to receive her HS Diploma with a standing ovation at that!
Robin lived on her own at Taney Village Community Living and did very well for herself.
Until her falling around progressed, so in 1998 Robin was sent to North Hampton Manor Nursing Center by her choice and is there presently.
Her bed is manuel, and Robin has to be turned every 2 hours due to her getting freguent bed sores.
She rarely gets out of bed unless it's for bath's or unless our mother & I, Laurie are out there caring and feeding Robin.
